Transition Mentoring Program for Former Administrative and Management (15 Jul 2026)

FDAAA is pleased to announce the expansion of its Transition Mentoring Program to support former administrative and management staff from across FDA who were affected by last year's agency downsizing.

The program is being led by Jim Sigg, former FDA Deputy Commissioner for Operations and Chief Operating Officer, together with a team of 12 former FDA leaders with extensive experience in administrative and management functions.

As with FDAAA's previous transition mentoring initiatives, participants will be eligible for three one-on-one mentoring sessions, with additional sessions available if mutually agreed upon by the mentor and mentee.

“We are thrilled Jim Sigg has stepped in to lead this very impressive cadre of former FDA leaders,” said Joe Levitt, FDAAA Strategic Director. “I know he and his colleagues will do an excellent job.”

This new mentoring cadre builds on the success of FDAAA's earlier transition mentoring programs supporting former colleagues from the Human Foods Program, Communications functions, and other areas across the agency.

Participation is limited by the number of available mentors. If you are interested, we encourage you to register as soon as possible.
