Carrie Cannady Selected to Chair FDAAA Awards Committee

The Board of Directors is delighted to announce that Carrie Cannady has been selected as the new chairman of the FDAAA Awards Committee. This position was previously held by Robert Eccleston who has since been elected to serve as the Association's Secretary.
Carrie began her career with FDA in 1983 in the Office of Regulatory Affairs, where she served in the Cincinnati and Baltimore District Offices. In 1988, she joined the Office of the Commissioner where she held various positions in administrative management and external relations. Among the positions she held were Director of External Affairs Operations, Executive Officer and Assistant Commissioner for Management. Prior to her retirement in 2007, Carrie served for two years as executive-in-residence at the Federal Executive Institute (FEI), where she worked closely with executives from international, federal and state governments. She also served as the FEI liaison to the FEI Alumni Association. She now consults for public and private organization
If you don't recognize her name, it may because that she was known as Carrie Smith Hanley for most of her years of FDA service.
